一天，哈佛大学的一位教授对学生说：“学我这门课，你一天就只能睡两个小时。”这么说当然有所夸张，不过哈佛学生之苦却是闻名于世的。 哈佛大学的本科生每学期至少要修4门课，每年要修8门课，四年之内必须修满32门课并通过考试才可以毕业。而哈佛的博士生，每三天就要啃下一本几百页的大书，并且交上阅读报告，许多来校读博的学子，甚至几年里都没有时间去波士顿游玩，而波士顿离哈佛仅一桥之隔。

   One day, one professor of Harvard told his students,"To learn my lessons, you got to sleep for only two hours."It sounds like an exaggeration, however,the bitterness of being Harvard‘s students is well known across the world.Its undergraduates take as least four subjects a semester, eight a year, within four years thirty two subjects must be learned and passed ,or they can‘t graduate. And its doctors got to digest a big book of hundreds of pages, with reading report being handed in after that , many students coming to be its doctors, could not even spare time to travel to Boston, which is just one bridge away from Harvard.
