Producing food while working in tandem with nature is not as difficult as it might seem.

This video clip from the World Bank features a number of innovative programs that have made Costa Rica a world leader in agricultural and forestry practices designed to reduce global warming through lessening carbon output.

Ranchers and farmers who have signed on to this environmentally-conscious programs report considerable success, saying the initiatives have helped them save money, produce higher-quality products, and improve their livelihoods.
