If each corner of the earth were filled with light
Who still would need stars, and who would
Gaze at night
Seeking that remote comfort
Who would not wish that
Every day is a poem
And every word is a star
Like bees, trembling inside heart
Who would not be willing to own a soft night
As soft as a lake
Where fire-worms and stars wander through water lilies
And who would not wish that birds fully settle in the branches
Like stars filling the sky
In the distance comes a faint voice
With a lump of white lilacs hazy
If each corner of the earth were filled with light
Who still would need stars, and who still would
Burn lonely in the cold
In search of few hope
Who would be willing to
Year by year
Always write distressful poems
Each piece is a trembling star
Like snow covering on the heart
Who would be willing to see the night froze
As stiff as a stretch of land
The wind blow down small stars one after another
Who would not like the floating flags, and like the fire
Pouring out golden stars
Rising up when all the stars are tired
To shine where the sun can’t shine.
